Pro Tip: How to Get Clean Cuts with mywoodwall™

Not only do mywoodwall™ panels allow for an affordable room makeover, they’re also easy to install and work with for people of all skill levels, saving both time and money. By simply peeling and pressing, create a new feature wall in any room and let your imagination run wild. Made from real wood, mywoodwall™ panels are built with smaller pieces of wood, nailed and glued together, giving a unique and detailed look in a larger panel that’s easier to work with.

Since it is made from fairly soft and workable albizia wood, mywoodwall™ panels can be easily cut with a sharp handsaw. We’ve found using a power saw is not only faster and easier, but allows for more detailed, straighter cuts. One key to cutting mywoodwall™ panels is to cut with the stained side up, this gives you a cleaner cut on the visible part of the board, letting any fraying or chipping remain on the underside where it won’t be seen.

A number of various circular saw blades can be used to easily cut and trim mywoodwall™ panels to size. Whether you choose to use a crosscut, combination, fine-tooth finish or finish blade, a sharp blade is always ideal. With their ease of installation, workable size and ability to make detailed cuts, feel free to get creative on your next mywoodwall™ installation.
