How To: Cap Off Your Next Project with mywoodwall Trim

Whether bedroom, living room or office, by now you’ve seen what a fresh mywoodwall™ installation can do to spruce up any room. But that is just the beginning of what mywoodwall™ can do for you. Building off the “peel and press” ease of mywoodwall™ real wood panels, we created matching trim that are the perfect way to cap off your project. From wrapping around a corner to framing up a feature wall, there are plenty of uses for this versatile 90° wood trim.

Coming in three color varieties, Java, Deep Space and White, mywoodwall™ trim can match your feature wall or add a cool contrasting look. At 48” long and 1” by 1” wide, our trim offers plenty of ways to finish off your project. Made from the same real wood as our panels, mywoodwall™ trim utilizes the super strength of Tesa tape to securely adhere to your panels without the use of nails or screws, resulting in a clean installation.

Installation of mywoodwall™ trim is just as easy as our wood panels. After measuring and cutting your trim to size, cut 3-4 small pieces of Tesa tape and adhere to the inside of your trim. Since the mywoodwall™ trim is easy to cut, feel free to cut two 45° pieces for the perfect miter joint, or go for a traditional shaker style joint. Now simply peel the backing off the Tesa tape and press the trim firmly into position. You’ll be surprised how a little trim can quickly elevate your project to another level.

As you’re planning your next mywoodwall install, think about the outer edge of your panels. Will you need to go around a corner or are you looking to add a border to a pop-out frame? If so, think about picking up a box of mywoodwall™ trim with your order. With six 48” pieces per box, you’ll have plenty of material to add the perfect finishing touch to your install. As with most things mywoodwall™, applying trim to the edges of your project is only the tip of iceberg, what ways have you used or are considering using mywoodwall™ trim on your next project?
