Feature Wall Gives Big Facelift to Small Retail

Feature Wall Gives Big Facelift to Small Retail

“I spend about 70 hours a week in my shop and don't have a lot of time for extra projects, but I do like to do small projects. The cost factor of this was really appealing to me, I wanted to create a nice space but didn’t want to spend a lot of money or a lot of time.” -- Small Business Owner

Ross is a small business owner in North Seattle. He puts a lot of love into everything he does, including the shop where he spends most of his hours. After the initial remodel of his shop, he had a big blank white wall he thought could use a wood accent makeover. That’s when Ross turned to mywoodwall™. He found the perfect solution for adding a unique look to his shop without breaking the bank.

Line up the edge with the wall for less cutting

Deciding on mywoodwall™ for a cheap and easy solution seemed like a no-brainer for the store owner. After deciding on the Java color, Ross measured the wall and ordered the boxes of panels he needed. Once the panels arrived, he laid each panel out on the floor to decide on his final pattern. Using a saw and going off his reference line, it was easy for Ross to fit the pieces together. He peeled off the Tesa tape from the back of each panel then pressed it on the wall. Afterwards, he used a roller to firmly secure the panels in place. To cap it all off, Ross added our mywoodwall™ trim around the edges.

Perfect for his small business, mywoodwall™ didn’t require a lot of time, money or distract from his daily shop duties. We think Ross did a great job with his install and how he's been able to incorporate mywoodwall™ in his shop. Ross’ space now has an artistic flare that’s sure to be the talk of the neighborhood.
